How much solution per body should I be using?

This can vary as we are all different shapes and sizes! As a guide we say approximately 50 mls per full body and only one coat per body is required - this means you get approx. 20 sprays per litre! Another factor that can impact the amount of solution you are using is your equipment, be sure you are using a professional spray system that is giving you the best results and not wasting solution unnecessarily.

What’s the difference between the original and the exotic collections?

The Original and Exotic collections are vastly different in formulation.

Our Original collection is a green base tan that encompasses our signature Moisture Lock which treats the skin by offering deep hydration and nourishment through the use of premium ingredients. Perfect for all skin types however particularly complementary to a cool skin type the Original solutions can be rinsed off after two hours.

Our Exotic collection is a violet base solution, which has increased skincare properties and advanced technology that pamper the skin. Perfectly designed for those with a warm skin tone or those who have dry, mature and sun damaged skin, the Exotic formulas can be rinsed after 1 or 4 hours.

Why is the FT100 complex only in the Exotic range and not the original?

Original collection encompasses our core values – Sustainable Argan Oil, whereas the exotic range is a premium range with added skincare ingredients.

What are the ingredients in the FT100?

A blend of caffeine, witch hazel, vitamins & O2

How do these ingredients benefit the skin?

FT100 assists in achieving firmer skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines, resulting in overall younger looking skin, while maintaining natural moisture balance.

For example Caffeine has potent antioxidant properties and great ability to penetrate the skin barrier and prevent excessive accumulation of fat in cells, while witch hazel contains tightening, anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory properties which are highly beneficial for all skin types including sensitive, oily and dry.

Is it safe to use MoroccanTan on pregnant women?

Although testing has revealed that DHA does not penetrate the skin, nor enter the blood stream and it appears safe to spray pregnant women, we suggest clients seek advice from their doctor.

For women who are breastfeeding, they should ensure their nipples are wiped over before breastfeeding.

Why 1 hour, 2 hour, and 4 hour rinse off times?

The differences in formulations are responsible for the time needed to absorb active ingredients. However the full “development time” is relatively similar for all solutions. The development time and the rinse of time are different. The Development time is 12-24 hours.

How long can I leave the solution on my skin for?

Performance and results are subject to skin type so wash and wear times can vary based on skin type and DHA percentage. We recommend you follow the guidelines of each product to avoid overdevelopment. Once the guide colour has been rinsed off the skin it will continue to develop from 12 - 24 hours.

How long will my Moroccan Tan Spray Tan last?

Moroccan Tan can last anywhere from 7-10 days however the lifespan of your professional spray tan relies heavily on your pre and post regime! To prep the skin we highly recommend using MoroccanPrimer – this buffs away dead skin cells providing the perfect canvas for a flawless tan. Post care is just as vital! Keeping the skin hydrated and nourished by using an extender will see your tan last the distance, we recommend MoroccanLuminous which contains a small percentage of DHA that will help give your tan a little boost when it’s most needed!

How often should I moisturise after being spray tanned?

Keeping your skin hydrated is the key to a long lasting and even fade tan! Applying Moroccan Glow, Luminous or Butter twice daily will keep your skin nourished and radiant.

Do I still need to wear sunscreen when I have tan?

Yes, Moroccan Tan products no do not contain sunscreen.
