NEEDLES - STAINLESS STEEL 003R F SHANK - TWO PIECE (BLUE BOX)

  • Sterex Two Piece Needles are manufactured from diamond drawn medical grade stainless steel.
  • They provide the essential flexibility required to give ‘follicle feedback’.

Electrologists can’t see what is happening under the skin in the follicle, so have to use their sense of touch and make note of any visual indicators above the skin to gauge if an insertion is correct or whether they need to withdraw the needle and insert again.

In a nutshell electrologists work blind and need ‘follicle feedback’ to guide them correctly to the target area. Although experienced electrologists can work with either there is more feedback with Two Piece needles.

  • Fully disposable & steralised by Gamma Irradiation. Manufactured with highest quality materials - diamond drawn medical grade stainless steel.
  • Provides essential flexibility and 'feel'
  • 2 is the smallest diameter - 10 is the largest diameter.

Are Insulated Needles Better for Electrolysis?

Yes, insulated electrolysis needles are often considered superior, particularly for sensitive skin or targeted treatments. These needles are coated along the shaft, exposing only the tip for energy delivery.

Benefits include:

  • More precise heat targeting
  • Reduced skin trauma and redness
  • Faster client healing and comfort
  • Ideal for thermolysis and blend techniques

They are especially effective for:

  • Facial hair removal
  • Clients with darker skin tones (to avoid hyperpigmentation)
  • Areas near delicate skin zones

Use sterile, high-quality insulated needles from reputable electrolysis brands. Some professionals alternate with non-insulated types depending on client needs.
