BIAB Nails — Builder Gel In A Bottle, Wholesale

BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is the soak-off builder gel that changed the overlay game — strength of a hard gel, application speed of a polish. Our trade range covers everything from clear and cover ranges to coloured BIAB, top coats, prep and lamps.

Wear time 3–4 weeks with infill
Application Brush from the bottle, LED cure
Removal Soak-off with acetone

What is BIAB and why salons stock it

BIAB sits between gel polish and hard gel. It's thicker than a polish, so it strengthens the natural nail and rebuilds shape on weaker clients, but it's still soak-off — meaning no filing damage on removal. For most salons, it's now the default overlay service: faster than acrylic, stronger than gel polish, and easier on the client's natural nail than either.

Shop by brand

We stock the brands working Australian nail techs actually order. The original "BIAB" name belongs to Mancine partner The GelBottle, but every major nail brand now does their own version — same chemistry, different formula.

Complete the BIAB system

BIAB needs the right prep and finish to perform — most lifting issues come from skipped prep, not the product itself. Pair with base, top & prep, cure under a quality gel lamp, finish with the right acetone for soak-off, and keep your files & buffers stocked.

What's the difference between BIAB and hard gel?

Both build strength on the natural nail. The key difference is removal — BIAB soaks off in acetone, hard gel has to be filed off. That makes BIAB gentler on the natural nail over repeat services, but hard gel still wins for length extensions and clients who need maximum strength.

How long does BIAB last on a client?

Three to four weeks is standard, with an infill at the 3-week mark. Wear depends on the client's natural nail strength, lifestyle, and how well prep was done — clients with oily nail beds need a more thorough dehydrator step.

Do I need a specific lamp for BIAB?

A standard 48W LED lamp cures most BIAB brands properly, but always check the brand's cure time spec — under-curing is the most common cause of service breakdown. CND, IBD and the other major brands all publish their cure times on the bottle.

Can I apply BIAB over a tip or form for length?

Yes — BIAB can be applied over nail tips or forms for short extensions. For longer extensions or heavy nail art weight, a hard gel or acrylic is usually a better structural choice.

Is BIAB available wholesale?

Yes — Salon First is trade-only. Register for a trade account to see pricing and order. Same-day dispatch from Melbourne on in-stock items.
